March 9, 2026 (New York) — ECB STAR Group, a retained executive search and leadership advisory firm within LSS Strategic Partners, today announced the appointment of Lisa B. Baird as Senior Advisor. In this role, Baird will provide advisory support to ECB STAR Group’s human resources executive search function and help expand the firm’s HR functional practice.
Baird brings more than 25 years of experience spanning executive search, human resources leadership, and management consulting. She has advised boards, investors, and leadership teams on CHRO and senior HR leadership appointments, and has supported her clients with executive assessment and coaching.
Prior to joining ECB STAR Group, Baird recently retired from Heidrick & Struggles, where she served in senior leadership roles, including Global Practice Managing Partner for the Human Resources Officer executive recruiting practice. Before that, she was Head of HR, Talent Management and Corporate Strategy at Taconic Capital Advisors, a global hedge fund. Earlier in her career, Baird held partner roles at Russell Reynolds Associates and Spencer Stuart, conducting executive searches across the financial services sector. She began her career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and later worked as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company and in strategy and marketing roles at Fidelity Investments.
