New practice expands ECB STAR Group’s executive search and leadership
advisory capabilities across global industrial markets

July 15, 2026 (Atlanta) – ECB STAR Group, a retained executive search and leadership advisory firm within LSS Strategic Partners, an A&M Inc. company, today announced the launch of its Industrials Practice, led by Mary Elizabeth Sadd as Partner and Global Industrials Practice Leader. The new practice expands ECB STAR Group’s ability to support listed, privately owned, and portfolio companies in appointing C-Suite leadership.

Based in Atlanta, Sadd brings more than 30 years of executive search experience, advising clients across the global industrials sector. Sadd will lead the firm’s work with CEOs, boards, investors, and senior leadership teams on executive search, leadership advisory, succession, and organizational performance.

“Industrials is a critically important capability for ECB STAR Group as we continue to grow in markets where leadership has a direct and measurable impact on performance,” said Tom Wilkinson, CEO of ECB STAR Group. “Mary Elizabeth brings deep sector knowledge, trusted client relationships, and a people-first approach to executive search that fits exactly with how we want to serve the market.”

Sadd has placed more than 1,000 executives over the course of her career. She partners with organizations to strengthen leadership pipelines, improve executive effectiveness, and align leadership strategy with business strategy. She is also the author of Living a Generous Life, which reflects her belief that purposeful leadership can shape stronger cultures and more sustainable outcomes.

“Great industrial companies are built by leaders who understand both people and performance,” said Mary Elizabeth Sadd, Partner and Global Industrials Practice Leader at ECB STAR Group. “I am excited to launch this practice at ECB STAR Group and to help clients make leadership decisions that support growth, accountability, and long-term value creation.”

Before joining ECB STAR Group, Sadd held senior leadership roles in global industrial executive search, including work focused on private equity-owned portfolio companies, packaging, building materials, commercial leadership, and manufacturing and distribution. She began her career in industry with roles at Mobil and GE Plastics before moving into executive search and leadership advisory.

“Industrial clients need leaders who can translate strategy into execution, not just manage a function,” said Tom Elsenbrook, Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Performance Improvement. “Mary Elizabeth understands how operating performance, culture, accountability, and leadership fit together. That perspective is highly aligned with the work A&M does with clients that are driving growth, improving performance, and implementing change at scale.”

The launch follows a period of continued growth for ECB STAR Group as the firm expands its partner-led platform across Executive Search, Private Equity Services, Global Markets, and Law Firms.
