Before joining ECB, she was instrumental in placing senior engineering, product, design, and information technology leaders across private and public companies, including Hershey, New York Life Insurance, Nike, Slickdeals, Storable, Whatnot, and Walmart at Parker Remick, a boutique retained executive search firm specializing in technology. An accomplished alumna of Baltimore City College, Kenyon College, Columbia University, and Harvard University, April's earlier career includes roles that enriched campus and intellectual life at Columbia, Emory, and Harvard. She has also served on the senior staff of the NAACP and founded Civic Frame Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering civic engagement.
