Benedict Hughes is a Partner with ECB STAR Group in London, with an exclusive focus on working with private equity clients and their portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle.
Throughout his career, Benedict has specialised on the differentiated needs of private equity clients when it comes to engaging with leadership – supporting numerous successful transactions, portfolio company leadership appointments, and exits across various cap sizes throughout Europe.
Prior to joining ECB STAR Group, Benedict was the Head of Pre-Deal at the largest leadership advisory boutique firm in Europe to be entirely dedicated to the needs of the private equity sector. Earlier in his career, he spent several years with Bain & Company where he focused on developing a new service proposition (the Bain Advisor Network) to support private equity clients by aligning external Advisors to support on commercial due diligence and post deal transformation work.
Benedict is an alumnus of the London School of Economics, where he graduated with honours.
