Giorgio Grimesty

Giorgio Grimesty is an Associate in the Pre Deal Services team at ECB STAR Group in London, where he supports private equity clients in identifying, assessing, and engaging leadership and advisory talent across the investment lifecycle.

Prior to joining ECB STAR Group, Giorgio worked on buy side mandates for private equity funds focused on energy infrastructure, advising on complex, high value transactions.
Earlier in his career, he spent time at J.P. Morgan, covering major European financial institutions.

With a background in M&A advisory, Giorgio brings a deal oriented perspective to understanding how private equity investors evaluate opportunities and drive value creation. His experience advising on energy infrastructure transactions provides him with a strong appreciation of the commercial, strategic, and operational considerations underpinning successful investments.

Giorgio is an alumnus of King’s College London, where he earned a BSc in Computer Science. He is fluent in Arabic and has working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
