Josh Kotelnicki

Josh Kotelnicki's career has been defined by one discipline: putting the right people in the right roles. Before transitioning to executive search, Josh spent 17 years as a college football coach, most recently as Head Coach at the University of Mary, where talent evaluation, culture fit, and performance under pressure were not abstractions but daily imperatives.

That foundation translates directly to his work at ECB STAR, where Josh leads executive search engagements across PE-backed healthcare providers. He has built particular depth placing finance and corporate development leadership within private equity-backed platforms, including co-founding a corporate development practice that reflects his instinct for building functional capability around growth.

Josh holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of North Dakota, where he was a starter on the 2001 NCAA Division II Football Championship team, and an MBA from Murray State University.
