Nick Carrad is the EMEA Practice Leader for Legal Search. He has over 18 years of experience advising international and domestic law firms on strategic partner and associate hiring. Now with ECB Star, Nick works closely with leading firms to deliver high-impact lateral moves and team acquisitions.
Before joining ECB Star, Nick was a Managing Director at the world’s largest legal search firm, where he led the Parisian offering and previously founded Asia Legal Recruitment, a boutique search firm focused on partner and associate recruitment across Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern markets.
Nick is a qualified lawyer (New South Wales). His strength lies in combining deep market insight with a global network to support law firms in achieving their growth ambitions.
Raised in Southeast Asia, Nick has lived and studied (at both French and English-speaking schools) in Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Australia, and the UK. He is fluent in French and English and speaks conversational Bahasa Indonesia.
