Rob Barrett is a Partner in the Private Equity Services practice at ECB STAR Group, where he specializes in delivering strategic talent solutions to Private Equity clients across the full investment lifecycle. Based in London, Rob has worked extensively across multiple geographies, with particular emphasis in the US, France, and Germany.
Before joining ECB STAR, Rob led the Financial Services practice at a private equity focused consultancy and executive search firm operating across Europe. Earlier in his career, he gained direct market experience in public markets trading, initially executing a FTSE 350 based strategy at a boutique hedge fund, before going on to lead a merger arbitrage practice.
Rob holds an honours degree in Politics and Philosophy from the London School of Economics, where he developed a strong analytical foundation that continues to inform his advisory approach today.
