Sohil Patel is the Global leader of the Pre-Deal practice, bringing extensive experience advising private equity firms on all aspects of pre-deal diligence, including validating investment theses, assessing management teams, and identifying value creation levers.
Sohil partners with sponsors to advance investment strategies by connecting them with senior industry advisors, who deliver sector-specific expertise, differentiated insights, and proprietary deal perspectives.
Prior to joining ECB STAR Group, Sohil played a pivotal role in building a Pre-Deal Advisory business at a SHREK firm, where he led the industrials and business services verticals. He holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in finance and entrepreneurship from Boston University.
