Tim Dotson serves as a Principal at ECB STAR Group and is a key leader within the Healthcare and Life Sciences practice where he partners with private equity firms and their portfolio companies to identify and place transformative executives. He is known for his ability to navigate complex mandates, engage senior operators, and deliver a high-touch, efficient search experience for both clients and candidates.
Prior to joining ECB STAR, Tim served as Principal at Roo Partners, leading searches for PE-backed healthcare and services organizations across operational, financial, clinical and corporate leadership positions. Before that, he was a Director within a national Healthcare Practice, focusing on mid-market, PE-backed platforms.
Earlier in his career, Tim spent four years in a boutique retained search firm specializing in pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. During this time, he built strong international relationships and supported searches for senior scientific, clinical, and commercial leaders.
